Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Due to the nature of the helicopter training syllabus there are many and varied levels of competencies that the participant could have obtained throughout either prior flying and/or theory.

We recognise prior learning, but assessments must be determined upon application, and may require a gap analysis conducted in an aircraft.

RPL Fee

An RPL Assessment Fee of $250.00 applies to each Qualification / Skill Set being sought.

RPL Application Process

Upon receipt of this request for RPL, we will issue an email which will include:

  • a summary of the RPL process,
  • an invoice for the fees applicable, and
  • a link to the relevant RPL Application Form for the qualification/skill set being sought.

Assessment Process

Upon receipt of the completed RPL form, and of the payment RPL fee, the RPL Assessment will be conducted.

IMPORTANT:  Completion of the RPL form and payment of the RPL fee does not guarantee the issue of a qualification.

Additional evidence and/or training may be required to complete the competency, knowledge and assessment requirements of a qualification/skill set.
