Aircraft Noise

At Becker Helicopters we take our responsibilities to be a good neighbour seriously. We train helicopter pilots, providing jobs, investment and growth.

Noise is an inevitable product of our activities. We take measures to reduce the noise impact of our operations whenever possible by varying routes and training times.

There are occasions where we are not able to control noise independently, such as when we must take routes required by Air Traffic Control to avoid other aircraft or large built-up areas.

If you feel that you have been particularly impacted by aircraft noise, we fully participate in national and local noise management schemes and encourage any concerns regarding aviation noise be raised with Airservices Australia’s Noise Complaint Information Service directly. Airservices Australia is the Federal government body that is responsible for managing airspace within Australia.
